2018 in Review
2018 was a year of change and growth in the hydrogen and fuel cell world. We saw a significant increase in activity across the globe last year and we wanted to share the top stories with you.
But it’s difficult to point to a few because too much has taken place. As result, we’ve tried to highlight key announcements across the various categories listed immediately below. In some cases, we have grouped several smaller announcements that signify a larger trend. Admittedly, this list is long and you may not be able to read it all—but it shows how much has happened over the past year.
- California
- Buses, Trucks Military and Train
- Hydrogen Production and Infrastructure
- Passenger Vehicles
- China
- Hydrogen, Renewables and Energy Storage
- Investment
- Maritime
We will proudly note that many of our members are mentioned throughout these announcements, reflecting the leadership found in the California Fuel Cell Partnership, whether it’s industry, government, academia, transit, or NGO.
We want to thank everyone on social media who responded to our request for input. Your responses were not only appreciated, they were incorporated into the following list.
We’re sure that we’ve missed a key announcement or two—so much happened in 2018 that it’s hard to keep track of it all. We welcome your feedback via our LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter feeds.
Welcome to 2019. We can’t wait to see what the next 12 months will bring!
